Dong Nai Seeks Investors for Major Transport Projects

Dong Nai: The southern province of Dong Nai is calling for investment in five major transport projects, including an extension of Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line No. 1 to Trang Bom district, with a combined estimated cost of nearly 100 trillion VND (3.85 billion USD). The initiative aims to bolster regional connectivity and infrastructure development in the province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the four other projects include a 45.5-kilometer section of the Beltway No. 4, which will traverse Vinh Cuu, Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, and Long Thanh districts. Additionally, a road connecting Ma Da bridge to the Beltway No. 4 intersection in Vinh Cuu district is also part of the proposed developments.

Further plans involve the construction of a new bridge to replace the Cat Lai ferry in Nhon Trach district. This project is expected to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce congestion in the area. Lastly, the province plans to develop a new 105-hectare political-administrative center in Bien Hoa city, which will serve as a hub for governance and public services.

The Dong Nai provincial government is actively seeking investors to bring these projects to fruition, aiming to improve infrastructure and stimulate economic growth in the region.
