Editorial Team Initiates Comprehensive Review of 100-Year Communist Party Leadership

Hanoi: An editorial team convened at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) in Hanoi on May 20 to commence an extensive review of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV)'s leadership over the past century. This initiative is a strategic effort to shape the nation's long-term development plan in anticipation of the upcoming 15th National Party Congress. The team is specifically tasked with evaluating the Party's leadership from 1930 to 2030 and establishing leadership directions for national development over the next century.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this review will occur alongside an assessment of the four decades under the Platform on National Construction during the transition to socialism. The dual focus aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of past achievements and challenges, thereby informing future strategies. The outcomes of this review are expected to play a crucial role in guiding Vietnam's socio-economic and political trajectory in the coming years.
