Hanoi: Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc affirmed that the EU is currently one of Vietnam's leading economic partners, with steady trade growth while addressing the EU-Vietnam Global Gateway Business and Investment Forum in Hanoi on March 24.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the EU-Vietnam relationship, emphasizing the significant trade exchanges and investments that have strengthened over the years. He noted that the collaboration between Vietnam and the EU has not only boosted economic growth but also contributed to sustainable development in both regions.

The forum provided a platform for both EU and Vietnamese businesses to explore further opportunities for cooperation and investment. Participants discussed various sectors where the partnership could be expanded, such as technology, renewable energy, and infrastructure development.
