Phu Quoc:More than 370 Russian tourists arrived on September 27 at Phu Quoc island in southern An Giang province. This marked the island's first-ever direct flight from Russia, officially commencing Phu Quoc's 2026-2027 winter tourism season.

According to Vietnam News Agency, flight VJ2867 safely touched down at Phu Quoc International Airport after a journey of six hours and 20 minutes from Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

The first group of Russian tourists for this winter season was greeted with a lively celebration that included a lion dance, flowers, and souvenirs, all reflecting Vietnamese cultural traditions.
