Flash floods hit Chiang Rai and Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, causing sewage pollution

Chiang Rai Province was hit by flash floods again in 2 weeks after heavy rains overnight caused widespread flooding, especially in Tambon Nang Lae up to Mae Fah Luang University. The water flowed so quickly that many families did not have time to pack their belongings. In Chiang Mai Province, villagers in Saraphi District who live downstream are still suffering from flooding and are facing sewage to the point where they can barely survive.
