Hanoi: Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung on January 30 held talks with Liu Haixing, Member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of its International Department. Liu is visiting Vietnam as the special envoy of Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to congratulate the success of the 14th National Congress of the CPV.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was part of ongoing diplomatic exchanges between the two countries following the recent congress. The discussions are believed to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Vietnam and China. The visit reaffirms the commitment of both nations to maintain strong political ties and mutual understanding.
