Hanoi: A rescue vessel operated by the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) on March 24 safely brought ashore a critically ill Filipino sailor and handed him over to relevant authorities for hospital treatment.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the sailor required immediate medical attention, prompting the MRCC to initiate the rescue operation. The rescue team successfully transported the sailor to shore, where he was then transferred to a local hospital for necessary medical care.
The successful operation highlights the effectiveness of the MRCC in handling maritime emergencies and ensuring the safety of individuals in distress at sea.
