Gia lai: A scientific workshop on recent advances in the study of strongly correlated electron systems opened in the central province of Gia Lai, bringing together more than 40 delegates from 11 countries and territories. The event is jointly organised by the association Rencontres du Vietnam, the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), and the US-based Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI). It has attracted leading scientists and distinguished professors from around the world specialising in condensed matter physics. The workshop is scheduled to run until June 5.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the gathering serves as a platform for the global scientific community to exchange insights and share the latest research findings in the field of strongly correlated electron materials. The participants include some of the most respected names in physics, who will engage in discussions and presentations over the course of the workshop.
The event aims to foster international collaboration and enhance understanding of complex electron interactions, which have significant implications for the development of new technologies. The organisers hope that the knowledge shared at this workshop will lead to breakthroughs in materials science and condensed matter physics, paving the way for advancements in various technological applications.
