Hanoi:Prime Minister Le Minh Hung hosted a reception for Lao General Khamliang Outhakaysone, who is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Laos, during his official visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting took place in Hanoi on October 13. The Lao official is attending the annual meeting of defence ministers from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, as well as the 2026 joint civil defence exercise involving the armies of these countries.
