Hai phong: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked the northern port city of Hai Phong to make greater contributions to join the whole nation’s efforts in realising the two strategic centenary goals and ushering in a new era of prosperous development. The Government leader, who is also Politburo member and Secretary of the Government’s Party Committee, made the request at the first Party Congress of Hai Phong, the 2025 – 2030 tenure, on September 27.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the call for increased efforts from Hai Phong comes as the nation aims to achieve significant milestones by its centenary. The Prime Minister’s appeal underscores the importance of Hai Phong’s role in the national strategy, urging local leaders and citizens to align with the broader objectives set forth at the national level.
The Party Congress of Hai Phong, where this directive was issued, marks a significant event for the city, setting the political and economic agenda for the next five years.
