Hai Phong Partners with RoK Firms in Environmental Technology Project

Hai phong: A cooperation programme under the KOICA IBS project was launched in Luu Kiem ward, Hai Phong city, on May 26 with a view to promoting circular agriculture, environmental treatment, and sustainable development. The programme is a partnership between the Song Gia Investment and Development Cooperative, the Eco Hopia Co., Ltd., and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

According to Vietnam News Agency, this initiative aims to foster collaboration between Vietnamese and South Korean entities to address environmental challenges and advance agricultural practices. The project seeks to leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to enhance sustainability in the region.

By focusing on circular agriculture, the programme intends to minimize waste and optimize resource use, contributing to a more sustainable agricultural sector. Environmental treatment efforts will be directed at improving waste management and pollution control, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for the local community.

The partnership highlights the commitment of both nations to work together towards common goals of sustainability and environmental conservation. Through the KOICA IBS project, Hai Phong city, along with its South Korean partners, aims to set a precedent for international cooperation in tackling pressing environmental issues.
