HCM City Stands Ready to Cooperate with Cambodian Localities: City Leader

Ho Chi Minh City: Ho Chi Minh City is willing to step up its diverse cooperation with Cambodian localities, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, trade promotion, and people-to-people exchange, according to a city leader. Visiting the Cambodian Consulate General in HCM City on April 9 on the occasion of the Khmer people’s Chol Chnam Thmay festival, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy underscored the city’s commitment to realising the cooperation potential between the two countries in alignment with the aspirations of both sides’ leaders and peoples.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by Vice Chairwoman Thuy highlighted the importance of fostering stronger ties between Ho Chi Minh City and Cambodian provinces. The city aims to enhance trade and cultural exchanges, focusing on mutual benefits and development. This commitment reflects the longstanding relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia and the shared goals of prosperity and stability in the region.
