Hanoi: The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) proceeded with a comprehensive session on January 22, under the leadership of Party General Secretary To Lam, who also serves as the President of the Presidium. The primary focus of the session was on personnel matters concerning the 14th Party Central Committee.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Congress successfully conducted votes to elect members to the 14th Party Central Committee. The newly elected committee comprises 180 official members and 20 alternate members.
