Ho Chi Minh City: Nguyen Van Duoc, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, has been elected as the Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the election took place on February 20. Nguyen Van Duoc’s new role as Chairman is expected to guide the People’s Committee through the ongoing term, focusing on governance and development initiatives in Ho Chi Minh City.
