Ho Chi Minh City Inaugurates Int’l Friendship Symbol

Ho Chi Minh City: As part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025), Ho Chi Minh City on April 29 inaugurated the International Friendship Symbol at Bach Dang Wharf Park. Designed as a M¶bius strip, it features the names of 58 international partner localities, celebrating decades of friendship and cooperation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the inauguration of this symbol underscores the city’s commitment to fostering international relationships and commemorating long-standing ties. The structure is intended to be a visual representation of unity and global cooperation, reflecting the city’s role in international diplomacy and partnership over the years.
