Ho chi minh city: The People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City and the Prefectural Assembly of Japan's Yamaguchi have formalised a friendly cooperation framework, marking a new step forward in ties between the two localities. At a working session with Yanai Shungaku, Chairman of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Vo Van Minh said the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishes an official and sustainable dialogue mechanism, helping elevate bilateral relations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the newly signed MoU aims to foster an ongoing and structured dialogue between Ho Chi Minh City and Yamaguchi. This framework is expected to support the development of closer relations in various sectors, contributing to mutual growth and understanding between the two regions. The agreement signifies an important milestone in the diplomatic efforts to strengthen local-level partnerships between Vietnam and Japan.
