Ho Chi Minh City Records Over 667 Million USD in Tet Tourism Revenue

Lien huong: Ho Chi Minh City earned 12.15 trillion VND (667.75 million USD) from tourism activities during the nine-day Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday from February 14 to 22, marking a 42.9% increase compared to the previous year, as reported by the municipal Department of Tourism.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the city saw a significant influx of tourists, welcoming 4.32 million visitors. This figure includes 170,000 international arrivals, which is a 51.7% rise from the same period last year. The overall increase in visitor numbers was 35%, reflecting a strong rebound in tourism activity. Hotel occupancy also saw an improvement, averaging about 75%, which is a 10% increase year-on-year.
