Ho Chi Minh City Sees Surge with 2.7 Million Visitors for Anniversary Celebrations

Ho Chi Minh City: Ho Chi Minh City welcomed nearly 2.7 million visitors in a span of 15 days, from April 20 to April 4. The influx of tourists was primarily due to major events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the city experienced a significant rise in visitor numbers during the 5-day holiday from April 30 to May 4. Approximately 1.95 million visitors were recorded during this period, marking an increase of 101 percent compared to the same timeframe last year. This surge highlights the city’s appeal and the successful draw of its historical celebrations.
