Hue Festival 2026 Kicks Off

Tuyen quang: The People's Committee of the central city of Hue held a ceremony at Ngo Mon Square in the Hue Imperial Citadel to announce its signature Hue Festival 2026. Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre Hoang Viet Trung said the year-long event will continue to affirm the city's position as Vietnam's festival hub and distinctive heritage city, with nearly 80 cultural, artistic, sports, and international exchange activities and programmes taking place throughout 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival will feature a wide range of activities aimed at showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Hue. The event is expected to attract visitors from across the globe, contributing to the local economy and promoting cultural tourism in the region. Organizers have planned various events to highlight the unique traditions and historical significance of Hue, further establishing it as a key destination for cultural and artistic exploration.
