Paris: The Indonesian Navy's sail training ship KRI Bima Suci has arrived at Sai Gon - Hiep Phuoc Port in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the start of a four-day goodwill visit to the southern metropolis. The ship docked on May 10 and is led by Captain Lt. Col. Sugeng Hariyanto, with a delegation consisting of 345 officers, sailors, and cadets.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen naval relations and foster goodwill between Indonesia and Vietnam. The crew is expected to engage in a series of activities that promote cultural and professional exchange with their Vietnamese counterparts. The KRI Bima Suci serves as a training vessel for Indonesian naval cadets, providing them with hands-on experience and the opportunity to interact with foreign naval forces.
