International Integration to Align with National Growth Objectives: PM

Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has emphasized that foreign affairs and international integration efforts must be aligned with national development needs, directly contributing to the pursuit of double-digit economic growth. PM Chinh, serving as Head of the National Steering Committee for International Integration, made this assertion while presiding over the committee's hybrid meeting held in Hanoi on April 3. The session focused on evaluating the institutionalization of key foreign policy orientations established at the 14th National Party Congress, along with the Politburo's Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW concerning international integration in the current context.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscored the necessity for international integration strategies to be intricately connected with the country's developmental targets. This approach is expected to bolster economic performance and support the nation's broader growth aspirations. The discussions during the meeting highlighted the importance of synchronizing foreign policy with domestic goals to ensure cohesive advancement in various sectors.
