Da nang: The 60th meeting of the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC 60) commenced in the central city of Da Nang, bringing together over 500 domestic and international attendees. The event, organized by the Vietnam Internet Network Information Centre (VNNIC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, aims to address policies surrounding Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and Autonomous System Numbers (ASN).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting also emphasizes the promotion of advanced technologies such as quantum Internet, IPv6, artificial intelligence (AI), secure routing, and the development of next-generation Internet infrastructure. These discussions are crucial as the digital landscape continues to evolve, requiring robust and forward-thinking strategies to manage and secure Internet resources effectively.
