Japan Coast Guard Patrol Vessel Akitsushima Visits Da Nang

Da nang: The Japan Coast Guard patrol vessel Akitsushima, under the leadership of Deputy Commander Rear Admiral Takahashi Toru, has docked at Tien Sa Port for a five-day courtesy visit to the central coastal city of Da Nang. The delegation includes 60 officers and crew members, marking the beginning of a series of engagements in the city.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during their stay, the Japanese delegation is set to hold courtesy meetings with local officials, including leaders of the Da Nang People's Committee, the director of the regional maritime search and rescue coordination centre No. 2, and the Commander of Coast Guard Region 2. Additionally, the delegation will take the opportunity to explore local cultural and tourist attractions, fostering cultural exchanges between Japan and Vietnam.
