Bangkok, 'Suriya' joins forces with 'Transportation of a Hundred Hearts, Honoring the King', leading 7,200 people to offer blessings and take an oath to donate 2 million cc of blood to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024. Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, said that on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King's 6th cycle birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024, civil servants and staff of the Ministry of Transport in all 22 agencies have jointly organized the "Transportation Hundred Hearts, Honoring the King" project to offer blessings and make an oath to be a good civil servant and the power of the country. They presented the royal celebration flag to the agencies under the Ministry, announced their intention to achieve the goal of donating blood together by the Ministry's personnel, totaling 2 million cc., to offer merit to His Majesty the King, and granted 172 scholars hips to students in schools around the Bangkok Port to increase opportunities and encourage the youth, which is an important foundation for creating and developing a sustainable society and country in the future. Mr. Suriya continued that the executives and staff of the Ministry of Transport were extremely delighted to have come together to express their loyalty with the deepest gratitude for His Majesty the King. Throughout the past, His Majesty the King has performed various royal duties with great diligence and has been a role model for all civil servants in performing their duties for the benefit of the people. All civil servants and staff of the Ministry of Transport will take this to heart and practice to achieve results in order to fulfill His Majesty's wishes with loyalty forever. Mr. Chaiyatham Promsorn, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, added that the Ministry of Transport and its affiliated agencies have jointly implemented the 'Transportation Hundred Hearts, Honoring the King' pr oject to honor His Majesty the King. Today (July 24, 2024), executives, civil servants, employees under the agency, representatives from government and private agencies, representatives of shipping lines, entrepreneurs, and people in communities surrounding the Bangkok Port area, totaling 7,200 people, gathered at the waterfront area of ??the OB Building, Bangkok Port to jointly express their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King, together with civil servants and employees of the Ministry's agencies in the regions nationwide. On this occasion, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, presented the royal celebration flags to the heads of government agencies and state enterprises and forwarded them to government agencies with regional offices, totaling 72 flags, as well as 172 scholarships to students in 6 schools around the Bangkok Port, including the Mu Ban Phatthana Community School, Wat Khlong Toei School, Wat Saphan School, Samakkhi Songkhro School, Thai Pras itsart School, and Sun Ruam Nam Jai School, to increase educational opportunities for Thai youth. On this occasion, the Ministry of Transport has continued His Majesty the King's royal intention by implementing the Blood Donation Unity Project to save the lives of fellow human beings, with a target of 2 million cc in 2024. Since January 2024, executives and personnel of the Ministry have donated more than 1.4 million cc of blood. Today, the Ministry of Transport's blood donation intent notice was presented to the National Blood Center to set a common goal and symbolically express that from now until the end of 2024, the personnel of the Ministry of Transport will join together to donate blood until reaching 2 million cc to join in honoring His Majesty the King, which is another good activity to be a part of saving the lives of fellow human beings who need blood and to help save the lives of patients nationwide.
