Hanoi:A joint civil defence exercise involving the militaries of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was conducted at Brigade 249 of the Engineer Corps in Hanoi on October 14.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this exercise was part of an agreement made by the defence ministers of the three countries during their 2019 meeting. It also aligns with the 2026 defence cooperation plans between Vietnam and Laos, and between Vietnam and Cambodia.
