Jordan’s King Abdullah II Engages in Vietnam Business Forum

Hanoi: King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein continued his official visit to Vietnam on November 13 at the invitation of State President Luong Cuong. In the morning, he addressed a Vietnam-Jordan business forum and attended a textile industry roundtable. He also laid a wreath at the monument dedicated to war heroes and martyrs on Bac Son Road and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at the mausoleum in Hanoi.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit highlights the strengthening of bilateral ties between Jordan and Vietnam. King Abdullah II’s participation in the business forum and industry roundtable underscores the potential for economic collaboration, particularly in the textile sector. The symbolic gestures of laying a wreath and paying respects at the mausoleum reflect the mutual respect and historical acknowledgment between the two nations.
