He stated that deadlines should not be extended unless there are objective reasons. This directive was given during a mid-year review meeting of the State Steering Committee for major and important national projects in the transport sector. The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format, linking the Government Office in Hanoi with the offices of the People's Committees of 31 localities involved in the projects.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister's remarks were made on June 27, underscoring the critical nature of these transport projects for national development. The Prime Minister's directive reflects a commitment to maintaining progress and ensuring that any delays are justified.
