Korean President Arrives in Hanoi, Commences State Visit to Vietnam

Hanoi: President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Lee Jae Myung and his spouse arrived in Hanoi on April 21 afternoon, marking the start of a four-day state visit to Vietnam. The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and State President To Lam and his spouse.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit is expected to strengthen the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Vietnam. Discussions are anticipated to cover a range of topics, including economic cooperation and cultural exchanges. This visit is seen as a continuation of the efforts to enhance bilateral ties that have been developing over recent years.

The Korean President's itinerary includes meetings with Vietnamese leaders and participation in events aimed at boosting collaboration between the two countries. The visit underscores the growing partnership and mutual interests between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea.
