LAM DONG: The People’s Committee of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong marked a milestone on December 30 by welcoming its 10 millionth tourist of the year. The event highlighted the region’s growing appeal as a travel destination, underscored by the presence of Nguyen Dang Dung, a visitor from Hanoi, who was selected as the honored guest from passengers arriving on a morning flight from Hanoi to Da Lat.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Nguyen Dang Dung expressed his excitement at being named the 10 millionth tourist, stating that Da Lat’s mild climate and picturesque landscapes have made it a popular choice for his family’s year-end vacations. The selection of Dung as the milestone visitor reflects a broader trend of increasing tourism in the region, driven by its natural attractions and cultural appeal.
