Phra That Chaiyaphum is beautiful and peaceful, located on Phu Laen Kha mountain range, Ban Phu Song Chan, Kaeng Khro District, Chaiyaphum Province. The starting point of the construction of Phra That Chaiyaphum was the intention of Phra Ratcha Maha Chetiyaphiban or Chao Khun Torsak, the assistant abbot of Wat Arun Ratchawararam, as the chairman of the construction of Phra That Chaiyaphum. He intended to build it as a Buddha image by gathering faith from relatives and devotees to join in the construction since 2007. It was originally a center for practicing Dhamma, teaching Dhamma to students and monks, and expanded to Phra That Chaiyaphum. Over the past 17 years, it has received attention from tourists.

Now, it
is not just a place to practice Dhamma, but has become a tourist temple and an important landmark of Chaiyaphum Province. With a peaceful atmosphere and good air because it is on a mountain, when tourists come to visit Chaiyaphum, they want to go up to worship Phra That Chaiyaphum. The beautiful architecture is a mix of Lanna and Lan Chang art, with a touch of Isan. Importantly, the temple has also become a center of the heart, a center of Isan folk arts and culture that has been passed down. The temple has also created jobs and careers for the villagers, giving them work and income.

Next on another hill in the area of ??Phra That Chaiyaphum, the ‘Khok Nong Na Araya Kaset’ project is taking place in line with the royal initiative, with mixed farming according to the new theory of agriculture, with the cooperation of the temple, provincial government agencies, and villagers who have come together to work together to build Khok Nong Na. In the future, this area will not only become an agricultural learning cen
ter for villagers to exchange knowledge, but it is also hoped that tourists who come to worship at Phra That Chaiyaphum will visit and be inspired to apply Khok Nong Na to their real lives. It also wants it to become a place for Buddhist agricultural tourism.
