Lao Chai Village A Rising Community Tourism Destination

Hanoi:Lao Chai Village offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, nestled at 1,200 meters above sea level in the Hoang Lien mountain range. Located in Khun Ha commune, Lai Chau province, the village is home to 45 H'Mong households with more than 200 residents and is emerging as a destination for community-based tourism.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Lao Chai captivates visitors with its scenic landscapes and distinctive highland setting, surrounded by mountains and green forests. Traditional wooden houses, terraced fields, and winding paths reflect the daily rhythm of life in the mountains.

The village's appeal also lies in its rich H'Mong cultural heritage. Local residents preserve traditional customs, clothing, handicrafts, and community activities, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the culture and way of life of the ethnic community.
