Vientiane: Laos consistently attaches great importance and gives top priority to developing its relationship with Vietnam, senior Lao leaders affirmed in meetings with Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong during his working visit to Laos on March 31.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the Lao leaders and Deputy Minister Cuong emphasized the mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral ties. Both sides expressed a shared interest in increasing cooperation across various sectors, highlighting the strategic importance of their partnership. Laos reiterated its dedication to fostering a strong and cooperative relationship with Vietnam, acknowledging the historical and cultural ties that bind the two nations.
