Hanoi: The 15th National Assembly is engaging in discussions on several draft laws, including the revised Law on Enforcement of Criminal Judgments, the Law on Temporary Detention, Custody, and Restriction of Movement, the Law on amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Prices, and the revised Civil Aviation Law. These discussions are taking place during the ongoing 10th session in Hanoi on November 12.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the assembly’s agenda is focused on significant legal reforms that aim to address contemporary issues and streamline existing regulations. The revisions to the Law on Enforcement of Criminal Judgments are intended to improve procedural efficiency and ensure better implementation of judicial decisions.
In addition, the proposed Law on Temporary Detention, Custody, and Restriction of Movement seeks to update legal frameworks to reflect current practices and enhance the protection of individual rights while maintaining public order and safety. Amendments and supplements to the Law on Prices are being considered to adapt to economic changes and address pricing challenges in various sectors.
The revised Civil Aviation Law is also under review, with the goal of fostering growth in the aviation sector by aligning with international standards and improving regulatory oversight. Lawmakers are expected to deliberate on these proposals extensively to ensure they meet national objectives and public interest.
