Hanoi: The 15th National Assembly (NA) on December 10 adopted several significant laws and resolutions, marking a crucial step in the legislative process. These include the Cybersecurity Law, the amended Law on Protection of State Secrets, and laws amending and supplementing certain provisions of 10 laws related to security and order. Additionally, amendments to some articles of the Law on National Defence and Security Industry and Industrial Mobilisation, as well as the amended Law on Drug Prevention and Control, were also passed with a majority of votes.

According to Vietnam News Agency, these adopted laws and resolutions reflect the commitment of the National Assembly to address key issues related to national security and public safety. The legislative session demonstrated the assembly’s focus on enhancing cybersecurity measures, reinforcing the protection of state secrets, and optimizing national defense strategies.
