Loc Yen Village Recognized Among Vietnam’s Most Beautiful Ancient Villages

Paris: Loc Yen village, located in Thanh Binh Commune in the central city of Da Nang, is celebrated as one of the four most beautiful ancient villages in Vietnam. Established around the 15th century, the village is admired for its traditional Vietnamese architectural style, featuring wooden houses, tiled roofs, stone alleys, tea hedges, and lush fruit orchards. These elements combine to create a serene and harmonious atmosphere in the area.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Loc Yen village is home to eight ancient houses adorned with exquisite wood carvings, some of which are nearly 200 years old. The preservation of these historical structures has maintained the village’s cultural and architectural heritage. In recognition of its historical significance, Loc Yen village was listed as a national relics site in September 2019.
