Long An International Port Wins Asia-Pacific Smart Green Port Award

Tay ninh: Long An International Port in the southern province of Tay Ninh has become the first Vietnamese enterprise to receive the 'Smart Green Port Company of the Year 2026' award from US-based market research and consulting firm Frost and Sullivan under its Asia-Pacific Best Practices Awards 2026. The recognition marks a significant milestone for Vietnam's maritime industry as it advances the development of smart, green ports and sustainable logistics. Speaking on July 9, Vo Quoc Huy, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Long An International Port, said the award was announced while the company was participating in the ASEAN Ports and Logistics 2026 Conference and Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the award underscores the efforts of Long An International Port in implementing sustainable practices and integrating advanced technologies to enhance port operations. This achievement is expected to set a precedent for other Vietnamese companies aiming to adopt green initiatives within the logistics sector.
