Long Sap-Pa Hang International Border Gate Pair Officially Launched.

Son La: The Long Sap (Vietnam) – Pa Hang (Laos) international border gate pair was officially launched with a ceremony held in Vietnam’s Son La province. This significant event marks an important milestone in the Vietnam-Laos bilateral relations, facilitating trade and travel between the two countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Long Sap border gate was originally established on March 1, 1990, following the 1990 Vietnam – Laos Border Regulation Agreement. The Vietnamese side of the border gate is situated in Phieng Cai hamlet, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. Meanwhile, its Lao counterpart is located in Pa Hang hamlet, Sop Bau district, Houaphanh province.

The official launch of this international border gate pair is expected to boost economic development and enhance cultural exchange between the two regions.
