Lower Central-East-South: Heavy rain in some areas

The Meteorological Department reported that the lower central region, Bangkok and its vicinity, the eastern region, and the southern region will experience heavy rain in some areas. The upper northern region and the upper northeastern region will experience cool weather in the morning.

The Meteorological Department forecasts the weather for the next 24 hours. The easterly and southeasterly winds will bring moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to cover the lower central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the eastern region. This will cause some areas to experience heavy rain. Meanwhile, the high-pressure area or cold air mass will continue to cover the upper northern and upper northeastern regions, causing the aforementioned areas to have cool weather in the morning. People in the upper part of Thailand should take care of their health due to the changing weather conditions.

For the monsoon trough across the central southern region, it will cause some areas of the southern
region to experience heavy rain. People in the aforementioned areas should be careful of the dangers of heavy rain and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially in areas on hillsides near waterways and lowlands. For the Andaman Sea, waves will be approximately 1 meter high, while the Gulf of Thailand will have waves lower than 1 meter. In areas with thunderstorms, waves will be higher than 2 meters. Boat operators in the aforementioned areas should avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
