Mae Ai residents start cleaning up after water recedes

Chiang Mai Municipality mobilized water trucks to clean the streets after the water receded so that they could be used again.

The flood situation in Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province, the latest water level has decreased. Chiang Mai Municipality has mobilized water trucks to wash and clean the road in front of Chok Banjong Market, Mallika Subdistrict, and used mud suction machines to suck out the muddy drainage pipes so that the main road can be used again.

Villagers and many agencies integrated equipment and water trucks to clean houses and remove items that were flooded for washing and cleaning. It is expected that it will take a long time to restore houses and roads to normal.

Meanwhile, there are still volunteers from all over the country bringing rice, dry food, drinking water, and essentials to help flood victims to alleviate their suffering .
