Hanoi: Mat Ngoc Lake, located approximately 105 kilometers from Hanoi, has become a new tourist attraction in Phu Tho province. Nestled within the mountains and forests of Ngoi hamlet in Muong Hoa commune, this picturesque lake spans about 10 hectares, surrounded by steep cliffs and distinctive cat-ear shaped rocks.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the lake’s water remains clear and cool throughout the year, allowing visitors to observe schools of small fish swimming at its bottom. The area maintains an almost untouched landscape, devoid of engine noise and phone signals. Instead, visitors are greeted by the sounds of nature, including the wind whistling through the rocks, the gentle ripple of water, and the calls of forest birds.
