Mekong Delta’s Tourism Promoted in China

Beijing: The Mekong Delta Tourism Association held a conference to promote the regional tourism in Beijing, China, on March 17. The event saw the participation of representatives from Mekong Delta localities, the Vietnamese Embassy in China, Vietnamese and Chinese tourism businesses.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference aimed to strengthen tourism ties between Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region and China. Representatives discussed various strategies to attract Chinese tourists to the Mekong Delta, highlighting the unique cultural and natural attractions the region offers. The conference also served as a platform for Vietnamese and Chinese tourism businesses to explore potential collaborations.

The participants from the Mekong Delta localities presented detailed plans to improve tourism infrastructure and services to cater to Chinese tourists. Additionally, the Vietnamese Embassy in China expressed its support for initiatives that foster tourism cooperation between the two countries. The event concluded with networking sessions, allowing businesses from both nations to establish connections for future partnerships.
