Ho Chi Minh City:A memorial service for 731 fallen soldiers, whose remains were discovered at Le Thi Rieng Park in Hoa Hung ward, was held at the site on October 14.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the soldiers will be interred at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery in Long Binh ward. This event marks an important milestone in honoring these heroes and highlights ongoing efforts to recover, identify, and reunite them with their families and comrades as part of a 500-day campaign.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, along with other former and current Party and State leaders, attended the service to pay their respects.
