Hanoi: The grand parade and procession, scheduled to take place in Hanoi on September 2 to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of Vietnam, is the centrepiece of the country’s 2025 celebrations. Since the evening of September 1, 2025, tens of thousands of people from all over the country gathered on Hanoi’s streets to wait for the spectacle, which will be unprecedented in scale with over 40,000 participants, including nearly 16,000 officers and soldiers in 43 formations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the parade is set to feature a wide range of activities, showcasing the nation’s pride and unity. The participants include both civilian and military groups, symbolizing the collective spirit of the Vietnamese people. The event is expected to draw significant attention not only from locals but also from international visitors who are interested in witnessing this historic celebration.
