Minister Invites Japanese Logistics Firm to Develop Transport Infrastructure at Gia Binh Airport

Hanoi: Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang has invited Yamato Holdings, one of Japan's leading logistics groups, to explore investment opportunities in warehousing and cargo transport infrastructure at Gia Binh International Airport. During a meeting in Hanoi with Nagao Yutaka, the Representative Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yamato Holdings, Quang expressed appreciation for the company's contributions to Vietnam's socio-economic progress since it established its local subsidiary in 2015.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the minister highlighted the strategic importance of developing modern infrastructure at Gia Binh International Airport to boost Vietnam's logistics capabilities and enhance its connectivity. Yamato Holdings, recognized for its expertise in logistics, was seen as a suitable partner to advance these goals. The discussions with Yutaka aimed at fostering cooperation that would attract further investment and technological expertise, strengthening the bilateral economic ties between Vietnam and Japan.
