Hanoi: The Ministry of Health (MoF) has received 500,000 doses of the measles vaccine presented by Vietnam Vaccine JSC (VNVC) to support a nationwide immunisation campaign. This initiative is part of efforts to tackle the rising number of measles cases across the country.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the donation aligns with the Prime Minister’s Official Dispatch No. 23/CD-TTg, which was issued on March 15, 2025. The official dispatch calls for accelerated vaccination efforts to combat the increasing incidence of measles. The received doses are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the country’s immunisation coverage.
