The New York City Council has passed legislation allowing permanent residents who are non-citizens to vote in municipal elections, under the guise of “No taxation without representation.” It’s probably only a matter of time before the liberal Democrats who run New Jersey jump on that bandwagon and propose similar legislation for our state.
