NA Agencies Urged to Strengthen Advisory Role, Improve Implementation

National assembly: National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on July 6 called on the legislature's agencies to renew their thinking to improve the quality of policy advice, take more decisive action to enhance effectiveness, and maintain discipline to strengthen trust to better serve the people while chairing a mid-year review conference between NA leaders, the NA's agencies, and the NA Office.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized the necessity for the NA agencies to innovate and elevate the quality of their advisory roles. He urged these bodies to take more decisive actions that would enhance their effectiveness and ensure the implementation of policies is more disciplined and trustworthy. This, he asserted, would ultimately serve the people better and strengthen public trust in the legislative process.

The mid-year review conference served as a platform for NA leaders, agencies, and the NA Office to assess their current strategies and identify areas for improvement. Chairman Man's call for a renewed approach highlights the continuous effort required to adapt to the changing needs of society and the importance of maintaining a dynamic and responsive legislative body.
