Hanoi: The 16th National Assembly (NA) has given its approval for the establishment of Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh as centrally-run cities. This decision was reached on August 24, with unanimous support from all deputies present.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Tien Hai, authorized by the Prime Minister, highlighted that the Government had submitted the necessary dossiers to support the establishment. This move aligns with the resolutions and conclusions set forth by the Party Central Committee and the Politburo.
