Tashkent: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, his spouse Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, and a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese NA arrived in Tashkent capital city on April 5 afternoon (local time) for their upcoming attendance at the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-150) and official visit to Uzbekistan.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit marks a significant engagement between Vietnam and Uzbekistan, with the National Assembly Chairman leading the delegation to participate in discussions at the IPU-150. The assembly is expected to address pressing global issues and facilitate dialogue among member states.

The visit also includes a bilateral component, where Chairman Tran Thanh Man and the delegation will engage in meetings with Uzbek officials. These meetings aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two nations.
