Tashkent: Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man had talks with Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva right after a welcome ceremony in Tashkent on April 5 afternoon (local time). The Vietnamese top legislator is making an official visit to Uzbekistan where he will also attend the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-150).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between Tran Thanh Man and Tanzila Narbaeva marked a significant moment in the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Uzbekistan. The discussions aimed to strengthen cooperation and deepen the legislative exchange between the two countries. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing mutual understanding and exploring new avenues for collaboration, particularly in the fields of trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
